Windowsize adjusts the dimensions of the graphics window to the specified width and height in pixels, thus also controlling the dimensions of images from copy and of recorded movies. Using windowsize without arguments reports the current pixel dimensions of the window in the status line and Reply Log.
When the Command Line or status line is shown, windowsize cannot reduce the width of the overall window below approximately 500 pixels. However, the graphics view will occupy an area of the specified dimensions, and only this area will be included in subsequently saved images. The rest of the window will be grayed out and excluded. When there is grayed-out area within the overall window, manually resizing the overall window will not resize the graphics area. To allow subsequently resizing both together, manually resize the overall window smaller (or enlarge the graphics area with windowsize) to eliminate the grayed-out area.
Windowsize can be used in nogui mode (useful when offscreen rendering is possible).
