Chimera User's Guide

The Chimera User's Guide contains three main sections:

The Tutorials demonstrate use of Chimera ranging from beginner-level to more advanced.
The Basic Functions section describes core features of Chimera.
The Tools section describes Chimera tools and extensions.

Some information is directly accessible from more than one section. There is also a Chimera Quick Reference Guide (PDF format), primarily targeting command-line usage. Please see the Chimera documentation index and Chimera home page for other types of information.

Chimera documentation, including the User's Guide, is bundled with each release. Your local copy of the documentation can be accessed and searched via the Chimera Help menu. Use of the bundled documentation is recommended because it is synchronized with the locally installed version of Chimera. Current development and latest production release versions of the User's Guide are available as links from the Chimera home page's documentation index.

This locally installed Chimera documentation can be searched using "Search Documentation" in the Chimera Help menu.
