Write Prmtop Write Prmtop icon

Write Prmtop writes Amber parameter/topology and coordinate files using AmberTools. Thanks to Wei Zhang for implementing this tool. See also: AddH, Add Charge, Add Ions, Solvate

There are several ways to start Write Prmtop, a tool in the Amber category. A file-saving dialog will appear.

Options for amber force field type (details):

AddH will be called if the model to save lacks hydrogens. Add Charge will be called as needed to assign charges consistent with the chosen force field type. Two files will be saved: Amber parameter/topology and coordinate.
