Delete removes the specified atoms and their bonds. The removed items cannot be recovered except by reopening the original input. The behavior is like that of delete in the Atoms/Bonds section of the Actions menu, not the command delete in Midas. (In Midas, delete is used to remove a branch of atoms from the side chain of a residue and rename the residue.)
